Therapeutic Gentle Yoga

Therapeutic Gentle Yoga This is a slow gentle practice on working on releasing joints and stretching and strengthening muscles.
This is for complete beginners who would like to have a space for breath, gentle movement and relaxation.
This is based on Therapeutic approach to Yoga using plenty of props to assist everyone to achieve the positions. This class is ideal for post op, injury recovery, high anxiety, chronic pain.

SLOW FLOW (LEVEL 1& 2)

Hatha yoga is the branch of yoga that typically comes to mind when you think of yoga in general terms. The practice involves breathing, moving the body, quietening the mind and meditation.

People are attracted to this for its mind-body wellness and health benefits. Yoga helps to relieve stress, support healthy habits, improve emotional and physical health, ease back pain and any body pain, reduce tightness and release areas of tension due to our lifestyles. Hatha yoga is focused on opening up channels of energy especially along the spine. Hatha yoga is a path toward creating balance and uniting opposites.

A slow flow hatha yoga class combines various elements of mind body and breath to give a balanced class of strength and surrender. This is a mixed level class with mindful movement and breathwork. All yoga helps with sleep management and stress management. These slow tempo classes hope to bring peace, vitality and healing to body, mind and heart. In these classes we focus on relaxation & foundational alignment to cultivate body awareness. Think gentle, steady, alignment focused flow followed by deep, long hold postures with an emphasis on mindfulness. This is one of the most popular classes. Learn how to use breathing techniques, Yoga postures & mindfulness tips to move into stillness. Open to anyone who might be a beginner, want to take things at a slower pace, perhaps as part of a nurturing routine. A steady yoga practice will help build strength, flexibility, balance, focus and inner harmony.

Vinyasa Flow (Level 3)

This is the same as the Slow Flow class but this one has a little extra spice. This class is perfect for someone who loves our Slow Yoga Flow but wants a little extra spice sprinkled throughout. Ideal if you have some yoga experience and like a spicy more dynamic class.

Vinyasa means “breath-synchronized movement,” and Vinyasa yoga is a series of poses that will move you through the power of inhaling and exhaling. Vinyasa movements are smoothly flowing and almost dance-like, which explains why it is sometimes referred to as Vinyasa Flow or just Flow. This is a faster paced class that is best suited for people with some yoga class experience. As the focus is to flow smoothly rather than alignment and holding. Be prepared to get very warm or build tapas in the body as we say in yoga.
This class helps develop strength and flexibility of mind and body and you never know what to expect as there is moving, rounding, rolling, flowing, breathing, sweating and lots of challenge. This class embraces a lot of flowing sequences of one breath and one movement, full of standing poses, balances, forward folds, back bends, twists, hip work and occasionally inversions.
